UNDER 10’s REDS

MOSS BANK JFC U10’s REDS

U10’s REDS ARE PROUDLY SPONSORED BY WHYSUP

WORD FROM THE COACH PAUL DONOGHUE

This season has not been without its challenges for the newly formed U9’s Reds. Initially struggling in the CPL due to a lack of appropriate opposition, we saw some real progress in the last few games after moving to the BBDFL, and confidence was starting to build amongst the boys, before the season was unfortunately called to a premature conclusion.

The boys have begun to come together as a group and were really starting to play for each other, and after several weeks of passing focused training we began to play some really good football at times.

Noel, Stu and myself are all extremely proud of all the boys, who have shown the important qualities of determination, passion and resilience, despite being made to play against more experienced and developed opposition, week in, week out.

We’d like to thank our fantastic group of parents for their supportive attitudes, and understanding that the boys’ development, technical, physical, psychological and social, is our primary objective. We are not, and never will be a match results driven club.

We are looking forward to get back to training and playing in the new season, and we hope you are too.

WORD FROM HEAD OF AGE GROUP – STUART ROUND

I was lucky to be appointed as Head of the Age Group for U9’s season 2019/20 and have had a great time and looking forward to continuing at U10’s Head of Age Group.

I’m proud to represent the Senior Management Team and Moss Bank Junior Football Club as a whole.

Our age group have gone from strength to strength and we now operate 5 teams being coached by 14 dedicated volunteers.

We have a wide spectrum of abilities and everyone enjoying their football on a Saturday morning is a joy to see.

Looking forward to the new season and watching all the players develop further across all 5 teams. My role is to support our coaches across the age group and to sort out any issues that occasionally arise. First port of call is always to discuss any issues with your coach/manager and then if not resolved I am happy to further discuss with the coaches and yourselves to resolve. It is also important to pass on all the good work your coaches do for you team as these are important also. My contact details are stuart.round@mossbankjfc.co.uk – Thanks.
