MENTAL HEALTH

Grassroots football has changed dramatically over the years and it is a much more inclusive, supportive and open place which is embedded into the Club ethos.

We understand the importance that has a football club we offer a child a safe and nurturing environment. This is to help your child thrive has a person and not just a footballer.

We are conscious and aware of our Children’s emotional well-being and mental health being affected by the pandemic, the isolation this caused and the readjustment of our children starting to mix with their teams again at the club. We do want to support your child and support you as parents/carers.

We are aware of a number of children struggling at this time and would like to offer some support via our newly appointed Emotional Wellbeing Leader, who can provide;

  • Advice and Guidance
  • A broad range of self-help worksheets and online recourses for you and your child.
  • Safety advice
  • Support well being of all children within the club
  • He will be unable to undertake any direct work with Children
