CLUB UPDATE FOLLOWING FA AND GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES

Dear Club Members,

Firstly we hope that you and your families are all well. These have been testing times for all of us.

On behalf of Moss Bank JFC we would like to thank you all for your support and patience during this ongoing crisis situation.

Following our communication on the 2nd April 2020 and the recent guidance from the Football Association and the Lancashire Football Association we are now updating you on our current position and next steps.

In light of the FA and government announcement re; the relaxation of rules relating to grassroots football the MossBankJFC Senior Management Team have met. Sadly at this stage the club feel we cannot safely facilitate the return of training at MossBankJFC. We are as keen as you all to get everyone back training but we want to do this safely. The welfare of your children is paramount. The welfare and safety of all our members, volunteers and coaches is also paramount.

We will keep this under review and are conducting ongoing risk assessments and liaising with Lancashire FA who on the 2nd June have also advised teams not to undertake any outdoor football training under the current guidelines. The Senior Management Team will meet again in 14 days to keep you all updated. As of the email communication on the 2nd April 2020 the below activities are cancelled or suspended. The club continues to be in hibernation:

Training Sessions – suspended

Matches and Friendlies – suspended

Our own club end of season Tournaments – cancelled

AGM – suspended

No Moss Bank JFC teams are to undertake any training at this time under the Moss Bank JFC banner. We thank you all for your ongoing support through these difficult times. Please keep updated about all club related information via Twitter: @mossbankjfc Instagram: @officialmossbankjfc FaceBook: Moss Bank JFC and our website: mossbankjfc.co.uk

Yours in football
